Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an IT Specialist to support one of our large Federal Clients. This specialist will be providing troubleshooting support for customer technical issues onsite. The main responsibilities of the role will be centered around handling 4-11 tickets a day involving issues with laptop, desktop, printer, phone, and other technical equipment in person with the customer, so strong communication skills and a deserve to provide customer service support is necessary. The technician will be repairing and re-imaging computers around the base as well when needed.

- Equipment set up (printers, computers, etc)

- Helping with software updates

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

  • Perform advanced systems installation, operation, integration, and troubleshooting in order to maintain optimum Information Technology (IT) system operations.

  • Design and oversee upgrades and new installs of IT systems and services ensuring coordination with Cyber Security Specialist.

  • Perform Tier III upgrades of networking systems, IT systems, and storage networking.

  • Perform Tier III troubleshooting, optimization, and performance management of Internet Protocol (IP), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and routing protocols.

  • Integrate enterprise, regional, and local IT systems ensuring current network operations are sustained or oversee their recovery.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ year information technology support experience

  • Strong customer service skills and attitude

  • Basic troubleshooting experience

  • Secret clearance

  • Sec+ null
