Position Summary:

Manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products is required to be in compliance with international quality requirements as defined by TGA, FDA, EMA, ICH etc. Reporting to the Site Training Supervisor of Quality, this position is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, site support on the GMP training system.

As a member of the site Quality Team, the Training Officer supports the entire site on the Learning management system (SFLMS) including metric reporting, performing quality and compliance checks on documentation, maintaining curricula and creating training items in SFLMS. The role also works with the global Training team and supports implementation of global initiatives, facilitating onboarding of new hires and delivers system induction training.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute administrative activities in SFLMS

  • Assigning training requirements, updating training items, generating reports as required

  • Creation of online and skill based training.

  • Reporting of Training status and metrics to site management and corporate

  • Facilitate onboarding and induction training for new hires

  • Scheduling training sessions

  • Provides site support to improvement initiatives consistent with a cGMP environment

  • Assist as needed with daily training documentation related activities

  • Collaboration with corporate training resources to ensure that site training program is aligned with corporate strategy and expectations

  • Reporting of Training compliance/ performance and status and metrics to Site Management Team, Site Leadership Team and Corporate Management

  • Collaborate with line managers to develop required training curricula including technical, managerial, soft skills and external continuing educational programs as required

  • Promoting a culture of training and learning across the site

  • Developing and approving training materials

  • Support quality system initiation/review/approval (support deviation investigations, CAPAs, change controls, etc.) as required

  • Data entry, records management and general administration of the LMS as required

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical/bio pharmaceutical industry is required.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven track record to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously in a small team

  • Experience with data analysis skills is preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail in data processing and preparation

  • Use and strong understanding of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint tools
